Book Your Introductory Student Evaluation

Every student starts at Colorado Karate Club with a focused Introductory Session. In this one on one meeting, we evaluate your student’s current level, learning style, and goals so we can recommend the best next steps.

Choose the location that works best for you below and pick a time directly from our live calendar.

What to expect in your Introductory Session

1. Student evaluation
We’ll review your student’s current skills, school performance, and any areas of concern in a calm, low-pressure setting.

2. Learning style & goals
We’ll discuss how your student learns best, what motivates them, and what success looks like for your family.

3. Clear recommendations
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of where your student is now and our recommended path forward—even if that means a different solution is best.

Time needed: Most Introductory Sessions run 15-30 minutes. Please have a parent or guardian present.

Questions About Booking?

Here are quick answers to the most common questions before scheduling your Introductory Session.

Do I need to prepare anything before the Introductory Session?

If you think it may be helpful, bring any recent report cards, test scores, or teacher feedback. Most importantly, come ready to share what has been challenging and what you hope will improve for your student.

Should my student attend the Introductory Session?

Yes. We strongly recommend that the student attend so we can observe how they approach learning tasks and include their perspective in the plan we create.

What if I can’t find a time that works?

If none of the available times fit your schedule, please text us at 303-659-9200 or email us at [email protected] with a few options, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Is there a fee for the Introductory Session?

Our Introductory Session is complimentary. This is a time to assess the prospective student to ensure that they are a good fit for the program and vice versa. After the successful Introductory session we can have the prospective student try class with other students prior to enrollment, either for free or for a reduced fee.
